Description
Andy Timmons kept his “Halo” sound close for years — a shimmering, modulated dual-echo texture that dances rather than repeats. The Keeley Halo puts that exact voicing at your feet, then hands you the tools to build your own variations around it.
At its core, the Halo runs two independent delay engines side by side. Load Side A with a slapback and Side B with a long ambient trail, then hop between them mid-song with a single footswitch — effectively carrying two delay pedals on one board. Delay time stretches from 0 to 1500ms, giving you everything from tight rhythmic bounce to sprawling washes of sound.
The Rhythm Mode knob dials up five distinct echo characters: the signature Halo voice, a stereo rack-style BBD analog delay, a vintage multi-head tape echo, plus quarter-note and dotted-eighth rhythmic settings. Push the Saturate control for tape-style compression and grit, and shape the tail with Tone and High Pass Filter controls. Pull the Time and Feedback down low and the Halo shifts into lush chorus and flanger territory — a bonus modulation voice hiding inside a delay pedal.
Every combination of settings can be saved: with 8 factory presets and full user-storable memory (2 per bank), the Halo becomes a compact multi-effect workstation rather than a one-trick delay.
