Description
The Bassbone V2 sits at the heart of your bass signal chain, letting you run two basses into one box and flip between them with a footswitch. Each channel gets its own level control plus a passive-interactive EQ so aggressive it can morph a P-Bass tone into Rickenbacker territory without changing instruments. Doubling on upright? A dedicated PZB booster channel handles piezo pickups cleanly, making the switch between electric and acoustic voicings painless.
Beyond channel switching, the V2 packs in a boost footswitch that doubles as either a solo-level power boost or a silent mute for tuning between songs. A third footswitch opens up an onboard effects loop with wet/dry blend control, so your pedals color the tone without burying the dry signal underneath — and you can route that loop to either channel, or both, depending on how you’re playing.
Everything then feeds a built-in Radial DI box with a low-impedance balanced output, giving you a clean feed to the PA alongside your amp and tuner sends. It’s a compact, road-ready preamp designed to handle both stage and studio duty, and it ships with the 15VDC power supply needed to run it.
Features
- Two-channel bass preamp for running one or two basses
- Built-in Radial DI with low-Z balanced output for the PA
- Combined power booster, effects loop, and mute functions
- Independent, high-headroom EQ and level controls per channel
Typical setups: Split electric and upright basses across the two channels for instant switching mid-set, use Channel 2’s EQ to reshape a single bass into a completely different tonal character, or run pedals through the effects loop while keeping your dry tone intact.
