The Xotic Bass RC Booster takes the acclaimed RC Booster circuit that guitarists have relied on for years and retunes it specifically for low-end duty. Rather than coloring your sound, it’s engineered to restore what your bass naturally has but often loses along the signal path — punch, presence, and low-mid definition that can get buried by long cable runs, passive pickups, or a crowded pedalboard.
At its core sits a smooth, transparent clean boost paired with a 2-band EQ offering up to 15dB of boost or cut on both Treble and Bass. That range is wide enough to correct a muddy vintage bass, add sparkle to a dull passive setup, or simply push your signal harder into an amp for solos and slap passages — all without smearing the tone underneath. Four knobs (Gain, Volume, Treble, Bass) give direct, musical control, and true bypass switching means the pedal disappears from your chain completely when it’s off, leaving zero coloration or signal loss.
Every unit is hand wired and hand crafted in the USA, reflecting Xotic’s boutique build standards. It runs on either a 9V battery or an optional 9VDC adapter, making it flexible for both simple setups and powered boards.
