Built around low-noise audiophile op-amps, a glass epoxy PCB, and a machined billet aluminum enclosure, it applies the same build philosophy Suhr brings to its Badger and Hand Wired amps — engineered for reliability under real touring and studio conditions.
At its core, this is a unity-gain buffer/line driver that counteracts cable capacitance without coloring your instrument’s tone or altering output level. Drop it at the front of your signal chain to lock in your guitar’s natural voice before it hits fuzz, drive, modulation, or a long run to your amp. Running vintage-style fuzz circuits like a Fuzz Face or Tone Bender? Place the Buffer after them instead — this preserves the direct guitar-to-fuzz interaction that gives those pedals their touch-sensitive character.
A transformer-isolated ISO output lets you split your signal to a second amp or device, with a Phase Switch on hand to flip polarity 180 degrees and keep both outputs coherent when combined.
