Description
The Vintage Deluxe takes the amp-in-a-box character of the Microtubes Vintage and builds it out into a full-featured tone shaping station. At its heart is that same tube-and-tape inspired saturation—organic compression, natural sag, and harmonic richness that spans decades of classic bass tone—but now paired with tools for gigging bassists who need more control at the front of their board.
- Drive / Level / Blend — Dial in saturation amount, output volume, and a clean/dirty blend ratio. The clean path holds unity gain so you can layer in overdrive without losing low-end punch.
- Grunt switch — Three low-frequency boost settings shape how much bass content hits the clipping stage, letting you keep things tight or push into thick, saturated low end.
- Attack switch — Boost, Flat, or Cut settings control treble saturation, taming harsh highs from fresh strings or tweeter-equipped cabs, or pushing extra clarity when you want it.
- 4-band active EQ — Low (100Hz), Low Mids (500Hz), Hi Mids (1.5kHz), Treble (5kHz), each with ±12dB of range for serious tone sculpting post-drive.
- Parallel Output — A clean passthrough of your input signal for parallel rigs and blending setups.
- Direct Output — A balanced version of the ¼” jack, ready to feed a PA or studio console without an external DI.
Housed in a gig-bag-friendly 12×10.7cm enclosure, this pedal is built for bassists who want vintage tube warmth with the routing options of a modern preamp.
Power note: Draws 30mA and requires a regulated 9V DC center-negative adapter. No battery option. Unregulated supplies or incorrect voltage can cause noise issues or damage and will void the warranty.
