Description
Bass players chased Eden’s amp tone for years before the company finally packed it into a compact pedal. The WTDI isn’t just a direct box — it’s a portable Eden preamp that turns any backline amp into something usable, adds a boost or solo channel to your existing rig, or gets you a pristine signal straight to the board. Acoustic guitars and basses respond just as well to it.
Signal flows through true bypass switching, with both 1/4″ and XLR outputs (ground lift included) letting you split to amp and PA simultaneously. Tone shaping goes deep for a box this size: three-band EQ backed by bass boost and mid-shift switches, plus volume, gain, variable compression, and Eden’s signature enhance control for adding harmonic sparkle without losing low-end weight.
The whole thing fits in a housing measuring 4¾” wide, 2″ tall, and 3½” deep, weighing just 1.25 lbs — easy to tuck into a gigbag corner or bolt onto a board. It ships with a universal power adapter and plays nicely with most 12-18V pedalboard power supplies.
