The Bass Blogger is Electro-Harmonix’s answer to bassists who want grit without sacrificing low-end punch. A footswitch-selectable Drive/Fuzz mode lets you toggle between two distinct flavors of dirt: smooth, saturated overdrive for pushing your tone into a growl, or a wilder, more aggressive fuzz for tracks that call for full-on distortion. Simple three-knob control — Drive, Tone, and Volume — keeps dialing in your sound fast, whether you’re setting up on a crowded pedalboard or tweaking mid-set.
Because it’s built specifically for bass, the Bass Blogger is voiced to preserve low-frequency information even as you crank the gain, so your tone stays thick and defined instead of collapsing into mush. A dedicated dry output runs alongside the effect output, giving you the flexibility to blend a clean signal with your distorted tone or send both to separate amps/channels for more tonal control in the mix.
Housed in a tough die-cast chassis, it’s built to survive life on a touring board, and true bypass wiring means it stays completely out of the way — tonally and electrically — when switched off.
