Description
Noise in the power stage ruins even the best-chosen pedal chain, and the BBE Supa Charger is built specifically to eliminate that problem. At its core sits a custom-wound toroidal transformer engineered for “zero hum” performance, feeding eight outputs that are individually isolated, regulated and filtered so gremlins from one pedal never leak into another.
Because it’s a true universal supply with a selectable mains switch covering 120v-240v 50/60Hz, the Supa Charger travels well — swap the voltage setting and it works anywhere in the world without an external converter. Fuse protection is built in for peace of mind on stage or in the studio.
Output-wise, you get flexibility for boards of mixed pedal types:
- Six 9VDC 100mA regulated outputs (positions 1–4 and 7–8)
- Two 9VDC 200mA regulated outputs (positions 5–6) for hungrier digital or analog units
The included cable set covers most standard pedal connectors right out of the box:
- Eight 2.1mm black cables (Boss-type)
- Two 2.5mm red cables with reversed polarity (Line 6 type)
The unit supports 9, 12 and 16 volt setups depending on your pedal requirements, giving you room to grow the board without buying a second supply. Compact at 6″ (W) x 3.5″ (D) x 1.6″ (H) and weighing just 2lbs shipped, it tucks under a standard board or velcros to the underside without adding bulk. If your rig demands clean, quiet, isolated power across a full pedal chain, the Supa Charger is built to handle it.
