Developed originally for Nick Catanese (Black Label Society, SpeedX), the FUCHS Noxious redefines what “high gain” means on a pedalboard. Most overdrives top out where Noxious is just warming up—this is a pedal engineered for players who live at the far end of the gain knob.
At its core sits a low-noise input circuit derived from Fuchs’ own Pure Gain pedal, feeding into an output stage voiced like a miniature power amp. That combination lets you dial in anything from a touch-sensitive mild crunch to the raw, teetering-on-collapse roar of an amplifier pushed past its limits. Tone shaping is handled by fully interactive bass, middle, and treble controls that respond like a real amp’s EQ, plus an adjustable input gain stage and a master volume so you can shape output level without sacrificing saturation.
Build quality matches the aggression of the tone: a solid cast aluminum shell with a powder-coated finish and baked-on lettering, true-bypass switching, premium jacks, and an ultra-bright LED for stage visibility.
