Description
The Soul Press II takes the ideas behind the original Soul Press and Vow Press and folds them into one compact rocker that covers volume, wah, volume/wah, and expression duties without cluttering your board. Flip between modes and a real-time LED position indicator tracks exactly where the treadle sits, so you’re never guessing mid-song.
On the wah side, a Q control shapes the filter’s range while a WARM/CLASSIC switch shifts the frequency window — WARM sweeps 290Hz to 1.4kHz for a rounder, vocal-like cry, CLASSIC covers 360Hz to 1.8kHz for a brighter, more cutting sweep. That gives you real tonal flexibility instead of a single fixed wah voice. Switch over to volume mode and an active circuit keeps the signal lossless through the sweep, so swells and dynamics stay full-bodied rather than thinning out.
Beyond the core modes, separate tuner and expression outputs open up more routing options for players running tuners or controlling other expression-capable pedals downstream. The housing has been given a slightly larger footprint for a more natural, ergonomic feel underfoot while staying true-bypass and pedalboard-friendly in size.
