Description
The Keeley OCTA PSI settles the long-running pedalboard argument over whether pitch effects belong before or after fuzz — by letting you choose, instantly, with a press of both footswitches. This mixed analog/digital design pairs an all-analog transistor fuzz circuit with a fast-tracking polyphonic pitch shifter, so you get thick, sustaining gain and chord-friendly octave/pitch effects from a single enclosure.
- Polyphonic Up, Down, and Dual pitch-shifting modes cover octaves, stacked fourths, diminished intervals, and chorus-like modulation, all with low latency and clean tracking even in dropped tunings.
- Momentary or latching operation on the Octave/Pitch side opens up dive-bombs, multi-octave bends, and adjustable ramp speed for expressive, timed pitch swells — no separate expression pedal required.
- Switch between All-Wet and Wet/Dry blend with a double-tap of the Blend control, tailoring how much dry signal stays in the mix.
- The three-way tone switch (Scoop, Punch, Psi) reshapes the fuzz’s bass response, from scooped doom tones to punchy midrange bite.
- Hold both footswitches to instantly flip the effect order between Fuzz-into-Octave or Octave-into-Fuzz, reshaping your entire tone on the fly.
Built into a rugged, angled aluminum enclosure and designed and manufactured in the USA, the OCTA PSI is ready for the road. It offers user-selectable True Bypass or Silent Buffered Bypass, runs on 9-18VDC at 150mA (no battery, high-current supply sold separately), and connects via standard 1/4″ TS jacks. Pair it with Keeley’s ECCOS Delay/Looper for a full fuzz, pitch-shift, and tape-delay workstation on your board.
