Description
The Elipse ditches the usual multi-effects approach of clicking through fixed presets. Instead, its MOOD knob sweeps you across a continuous modulation spectrum, letting you land anywhere between Fender-style tremolo, harmonic chop, Leslie-style rotary swirl, chorus, tri-chorus, vibrato, flanger, phaser, and univibe. Because the transition is analog and gradual rather than switched, you can park on a hybrid tone that no single-effect pedal would give you—somewhere between a phaser and a flanger, or a chorus that leans into vibrato territory.
The SWIRL knob adds a second, independent layer of motion. Set it midway and it lays a slow phaser under whatever modulation you’ve dialed in, giving the sound extra dimension and movement. Push it to max and it engages an analog drive circuit instead, saturating the modulated signal for a warmer, pushed tone. Keep it at zero for cleaner, more classic modulation voicings.
- Full modulation set: chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, univibe, rotary, and more, accessed via continuous morphing rather than presets
- MOOD knob for real-time blending between effect types
- SWIRL knob for secondary phaser layering or analog drive saturation
- 128 onboard presets with full MIDI control, Tap Tempo, and MIDI Clock sync for DAW integration
- Expression pedal input to morph live between two saved presets
On a pedalboard, the Elipse can take over the real estate of several modulation pedals at once, and its MIDI/expression capability makes it just as useful for detailed studio automation as for on-the-fly stage control.
