The original Micro Amp earned its place on pedalboards for two decades by doing one thing flawlessly: pushing your signal harder without smearing your tone. The Micro Amp+ keeps that same DNA — a Gain knob capable of up to +26dB — but hands you the tools to actually shape what that boost sounds like before it hits your amp.

Placement-wise, this pedal earns its keep in a few different roles. Drop it at the front of the chain as a clean gain stage to kick a clean or lightly dirty amp into a fuller, more saturated response. Or push it after your dirt pedals as a volume/EQ boost for solos, using the Treble and Bass controls to cut through a dense mix rather than just getting louder. Because the EQ is simple but effective, it also works well as a always-on tone shaper, subtly brightening a dark humbucker or bass rig.
Power it with a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 adapter, or MXR’s DC Brick, Iso-Brick, or Mini Iso-Brick supplies (sold separately).
