Description
Before pedals existed, this combo lived inside the amp itself — a splashy spring tank shimmering underneath a slow-breathing bias tremolo. Milkman’s F-Stop pulls that exact pairing out of vintage American tube circuitry and puts it on your board, with independent footswitches so you can run either effect alone or stack them for that woozy, swimming-pool amp sound.
- Spring reverb (digitally generated) for authentic decay and splash without the fragility of an actual tank
- Bias tremolo built on a 100% analog signal path and tremolo circuit — true amp-style pulse, not a digital approximation
- 18V of internal headroom despite running on standard 9VDC power, giving it the clean-through-loud dynamic range to sit early or late in your chain without folding
- Rear-panel trim pot to dial in tremolo output level to taste
- Independent switching for reverb and tremolo — use one, the other, or both together
Because the guitar signal path stays fully analog while only the reverb tail is digitally modeled, the F-Stop keeps the touch-sensitivity and amp-like feel players expect from these effects, while sidestepping the noise and mechanical fragility of a real spring pan. Drop it after your drive pedals for amp-in-a-box ambience, or run it into the front of a clean amp and let the trem breathe on its own.
