The Mission Engineering Power 529 solves a problem every touring or gigging guitarist eventually runs into: what happens when there’s no outlet nearby? This little converter takes any standard 5V USB power source and transforms it into five fully isolated 9VDC outputs, giving your pedals clean, independent power wherever you can plug in a USB cable.
That means you can run it from a portable USB battery pack, a wall charger, a car’s USB outlet, or a laptop’s USB port. Out of the five outputs, four are sized for regular effects pedals, and one is built to handle the higher current draw of digital pedals. A separate USB port on the unit lets you top off your phone while your board stays powered, and if five outputs aren’t enough, two Power 529 units can be linked together for a combined ten outputs.
