Description
Volume pedals have a reputation for gutting your tone the moment you roll them into the chain, but the Mission Engineering VM-PRO was engineered specifically to fix that. This flat black unit is an open-box pedal in mint condition, ready to sit on your board and handle everything from clean volume swells to instant kill-switch dips without smearing your high end or shifting impedance underfoot.
- Onboard buffers keep your signal strong through long cable runs and busy pedal chains
- Isolated tuner output lets you send a silent signal to your tuner (requires the optional VM-PRO tuner adapter)
- Sparkle control restores top-end shimmer that standard volume pots tend to smother
- Compatibility switches tailor the pedal for active or passive pickups, and for use ahead of fuzz pedals that are picky about what’s in front of them
Beyond electric, electro-acoustic, baritone, and bass guitars, the VM-PRO is flexible enough for keyboards, steel guitars, and mic’d sources like harmonica or horn mics. A PZ version is also available with 10M ohm input impedance for passive piezo pickups.
Runs on a 9V battery (included) or an external 9V-18V supply with 2.1mm center-negative plug (not included), drawing 3mA/27mW at 9VDC or 4mA/72mW at 18VDC. Measures 10″ x 4″ x 3″ and weighs 3.2 lb.
