Description
Swim Team packs a genuine quad chorus circuit alongside a vintage-inspired flanger, letting you cover both sides of watery modulation without carrying two boxes on your board. A pushbutton flips between the two programs—Chorus up top, Flanger below—so switching characters mid-set is instant and foolproof.
- Pushbutton: selects the active effect, Chorus (up) or Flanger (down)
- Rate: sets the LFO speed for whichever effect is engaged
- Depth: dials in how pronounced the modulation sweep feels
- Mix/Feedback: in Chorus mode this is your wet/dry blend; in Flanger mode it becomes Feedback, carving deeper notches into the frequency spectrum as you turn it clockwise for a more intense sweep
Backing off the Feedback control in Flanger mode gets you into classic early-chorus territory, so there’s real overlap between the two sides—Swim Team ends up covering more ground than its size suggests, whether you want subtle 80s-style shimmer or a deeper, jet-plane flange for solos and textural passages.
Built true bypass so it stays out of the way when off, making it easy to slot anywhere in a modulation-heavy chain. Runs on a standard center-negative 9V DC supply (not included) drawing roughly 70mA, and its 4.42″ x 2.39″ x 1.24″ footprint keeps it friendly to tightly packed boards.
