The heart of its flexibility is the RAT Filter knob—a control most distortion pedals don’t bother with. Dial it clockwise to tame harsh top-end when things get brittle, or back it off to let your guitar’s natural brightness cut through a dense mix. Distortion and Volume controls let you balance gain against your clean level, and true bypass switching keeps the signal path silent and uncolored whenever the pedal is off.
