Plugged-in acoustics live and die by feedback control, and the AC-Driver puts the tools for taming it right at your feet. Built around a Class-A FET buffer and studio-grade preamp stage, it’s designed to sit between your instrument and the PA, cleaning up the signal without stripping out the character that makes an acoustic sound like an acoustic.
The real value here is in the feedback-fighting feature set. A variable notch filter lets you dial out the exact resonant frequency that’s howling before it becomes a problem, while a 180° phase switch flips polarity to break up feedback caused by hot spots in the room. An adjustable low cut filter trims boomy low end that often triggers feedback in the first place. When it’s time to swap guitars or tune up, the mute footswitch kills the signal cleanly, with no pops or thumps hitting the house system.
Output is via balanced XLR, so you can run long cable distances into a PA or powered speaker without picking up noise, and a ground lift is on hand for eliminating hum from ground loops.
