Description
The CH-1 is the chorus pedal builders reach for when they want shimmer without smearing the tone underneath it. Rather than drowning your signal in modulation, it layers a clean, brilliant sweep on top of your original note, so picking clarity and pick attack stay intact even at deeper settings. On a pedalboard, that transparency makes it easy to place early in the chain without muddying whatever gain or ambience comes after it.
What sets the CH-1 apart from a standard mono chorus is its true stereo output. Run OUTPUT A and B into two amps and the effect physically pans between the left and right sides, giving your rig a genuine width that a single-amp mono chorus can’t fake. Feed it into a stereo rig with keyboards too – the circuit is voiced clean enough to handle both.
- Effect Level, EQ, Rate, and Depth knobs for dialing in everything from a subtle thickening to a lush, swirling wash
- Mono input, Stereo outputs (A/B) for dual-amp setups
- Input impedance 1 M ohms; output impedance 10 k ohms or greater
- Residual noise -95 dBu (IHF-A, typical)
- Powered by 9V dry battery (6F22/9V, included) or optional AC adaptor (DC 9V), drawing 22 mA
- Compact BOSS enclosure: 73 x 129 x 59 mm, 400 g
- Backed by BOSS’s five-year warranty
If your board needs one dependable chorus that won’t fight for space in the mix, the CH-1 covers guitar and keys with the same clean, classic voice that’s made it a standard for decades.
