Description
The Reamp JCR takes the guesswork out of amp tone by separating performance from sound. Track the guitar or bass dry and clean, let the player go home, then push that signal back through any amp in the room whenever inspiration strikes. It’s the studio equivalent of building a pedalboard after the fact—experiment freely without ever risking the original take.
- 100% passive circuit designed by John Cuniberti, the originator of Reamping, built around a custom-wound, USA-made transformer
- Separate XLR and 1/4″ TRS inputs so you can feed it straight from a DI track or a line-level source
- Variable output level for matching the signal to whatever amp or pedal input you’re driving
- Three-position filter to tame harsh highs, add low-end warmth, or bypass entirely for the untouched original circuit response
- On-board mute switch lets you kill the signal to the amp while repositioning mics or swapping cabs, no need to unplug anything
Because it’s fully passive, the JCR stays out of the way tonally—no coloration, no noise floor, just a faithful transformer-isolated path from your recording rig back into the real world of amps, speakers, and room mics. Guitar, bass, keys, drums, even vocals—if it was tracked dry, it can be Reamped. Once you’ve dialed in an amp and mic setup you love, you can revisit and reprint that track at any stage of the mix, long after the session’s over.
Radial keeps the original JCR formula intact while adding practical studio controls, making this the standard reference reamp box for engineers who want the classic circuit with a bit more flexibility.
