Description
Running two amps has always meant fighting noise, tonal loss, or both — Switchbone solves that at the source. Built around the same Class-A topology found in Radial’s JD7 Injector, it lets a single guitar drive two amplifiers side by side while preserving the feel and pickup response you’d get plugging straight in. That’s thanks to Radial’s Drag control, a single knob that restores the natural load relationship between guitar and amp that normally disappears the moment you split or buffer a signal.
Ground loops and hum are handled by a transformer-isolated second output, giving you 100% isolation on OUT-2, while a 180° polarity reverse switch keeps both amps locked in phase no matter how they’re paired. Flip the ground lift switch as needed to further quiet things down between rigs.
For solos, Switchbone’s onboard VariBoost circuit hands you footswitchable control over both boost gain and a dedicated mid boost — no separate boost pedal required. The ToggleMode footswitch uses large flashing LEDs so you always know which amp (or both) is live, without staring at your pedalboard mid-song. A buffered tuner output stays on at all times, letting you tune silently without ever touching the signal feeding your amps.
- Class-A AB-Y switching for two amplifiers
- Drag control for natural pickup load correction
- Transformer-isolated second output + ground lift
- 180° polarity reverse switch
- Footswitchable VariBoost gain and mid boost
- ToggleMode footswitch with flashing LED indicators
- Always-on buffered tuner output
Plug in, set your Drag, and let two amps sound like one honest signal chain.
