Description
Built with working guitarist Josh Smith and designer Tim Jauernig, the JSDT strips tremolo down to what actually matters on a gig: two fully independent trem circuits you can flip between with a single footswitch. Dial one side slow and lush, the other fast and choppy, then toggle between them mid-song instead of scrambling for a knob. Or set both similarly and use the switch to bring the effect in and out for a chorus lift — either way, it nails the warbly, old-school pulse of early Fender amps without fuss.
Visual feedback is built right into the faceplate: a rate LED on each side blinks in time with its speed so you can see what you’re about to switch into, a second LED shows which trem is currently active, and the bypass light confirms when the pedal’s engaged.

Note from the manufacturer: there’s an internal trimpot used for factory bias — leave it alone, as adjusting it will take the pedal out of calibration and it will stop functioning.
Like all J. Rockett Audio Designs pedals, power draws through a 5.5mm x 2.1mm jack (positive on the outer sleeve); plugging in an adapter automatically disconnects the internal battery.
