Description
The ReVolt Guitar puts a real 12AX7 tube, biased at 200V, at the center of your signal chain and lets it do what tubes do best: breathe, sag, and bite back when you dig in. Three channels cover a lot of tonal ground — American Clean draws from Fender Bassman territory for chime and headroom, British Crunch channels Marshall JMP snarl, and Modern Lead borrows Soldano SLO-100 saturation for singing leads and high-gain rhythm work.
- American Clean runs a 2-band EQ that stays glassy at low volumes and edges into gritty breakup as you push it harder.
- British Crunch and Modern Lead share a 3-band EQ, giving you range from vintage rock growl to tightly scooped modern aggression.
- A built-in OD-Boost, with its own footswitch and level knob, adds harmonic lift and cut-through clarity to any of the three channels for solos.
Placement in the chain is flexible. Run it direct into a PA or interface and the onboard analog cab simulation, modeled on a Marshall Slash Jubilee 4×12, handles the miked-cab character. Drop it into an existing rig via the 4-Cable Method to bolt three new channels onto your current amp, or feed it into an FX return for a hybrid rig that pairs ReVolt’s preamp stage with your amp’s own power section. An FX loop and front-loading option mean your favorite pedals slot in exactly where you want them.
Every unit comes with a lifetime license for Two Notes’ GENOME software, unlocking 10 DynIR virtual cabinets — each modeled with 8 mics, dual mic-ing, and 10,000 mic positions, equating to roughly 160,000 studio-grade impulse responses. MIDI I/O and a 3.5mm headphone jack round out the studio and stage-ready feature set, and the all-metal chassis is built to take the abuse of touring.
