Description
The Tour Bender takes the DNA of Union Tube & Transistor’s Sone Bender and swaps in silicon transistors, trading a bit of vintage sag for tighter, more consistent fuzz that still nails the fat, singing character of 70’s rock rigs. It’s the pedal for players who want that era’s snarl without babysitting germanium’s temperature quirks.
On the board, it sips power at just 10mA, so it plays nice with the rest of your chain and won’t tax a modest power supply. Run it first in line for classic fuzz-into-clean-amp roar, or push it into an already-dirty amp for a thicker, more saturated wall of gain. Either way, expect a fuzz that cleans up with your guitar’s volume knob and stacks well with wahs and buffers ahead of it.
- Silicon transistor circuit based on the Sone Bender design
- Low 10mA current draw, easy on pedalboard power
- Deluxe version ships in a wooden box with a bandana and laser-engraved badge
Grab the Deluxe if you want the full ritual: the pedal arrives boxed in wood, wrapped with a bandana, and marked with a laser-etched badge that makes it feel as much a keepsake as a tone tool. Whether it’s your main fuzz or a backup for when things need to get loud and hairy, the Tour Bender is built to earn a permanent spot on the board.
