Description
Think of the EB-10 as the tone-shaping brain of your board — part preamp, part parametric EQ, part clean boost, all working together to fix, flatter, or completely reinvent your guitar or bass signal. Each of the three knobs (Low, Mid, High) sweeps through nine positions of cut or boost, up to 12dB in either direction, so you can carve out mud, add sparkle, or push a stubborn frequency forward without reaching for a rack EQ.
Flip the Boost switch and you’re tapping into a MOSFET stage that adds 10dB of push — great for solos that need to cut through a dense mix, or for evening out volume differences between a hot humbucker-loaded guitar and a lower-output single-coil rig. Stack increasingly aggressive EQ curves with the boost engaged and you’ve effectively got three usable gain stages hiding inside one enclosure.
The EB-10 runs in two modes. Live mode keeps the pedal responsive to whatever the knobs and switches are currently set to — dial in your tone, then click the Bypass switch on and off as usual. Preset mode locks the pedal on and lets you cycle through three stored sounds with that same switch, booting up wherever you left it. Hold Bypass for three seconds to toggle into preset mode (watch for the P1 light) and repeat to exit; all preset lights off means you’re back in live mode.
