Description
Boss took the tone engine from the flagship GT-100 Version 2.0 and repackaged it as a desktop unit built for the home studio or a minimalist mobile setup. The GT-001 shares the same COSM amp models and MDP effects, so patches from a GT-100 V2 carry straight over — useful if you’re building a second rig or just want that tone at your desk instead of your feet. Two independent effect chains give you flexible amp/effects routing without needing a full-size board, and dedicated panel knobs plus preset buttons keep tone-tweaking fast rather than menu-diving.
Beyond the guitar input, there’s an XLR mic input with phantom power and its own tailored patches, so vocals and acoustic instruments get treated with the same care as electric guitar tone. A 1/8-inch aux input lets you jam along with a phone or player, and a multi-channel USB audio/MIDI interface handles recording and re-amping duties directly into your DAW. A newly developed guitar-to-MIDI conversion runs off the standard 1/4-inch input — no synth pickup required — opening the door to Guitar Friend Jam and similar software.
