Description
Forget digitally simulated pulse — the Voodoo Lab Tremolo uses the same lamp and photocell circuitry found inside classic tube amps to generate its wave. That’s why it breathes and swells with that unmistakable buttery throb instead of a sterile, mechanical chop, no matter what amp you’re running it through.
Where this pedal separates itself from a basic vintage-style trem is the Slope knob. Dial it toward one end for smooth, rounded, soothing pulses that sit gently in the mix, or crank it toward the other for a jagged, hard-edged “machine-gun” stutter. Between Speed and Intensity, the range runs wide enough to cover glacial, deep-swell textures all the way up to rapid, aggressive chatter — a genuine spectrum rather than a one-trick effect. A dedicated Volume control also lets you nudge output up or down to match unity gain with the rest of your board.
Built into a compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure, it’s an easy fit on boards where real estate is tight, and true bypass switching with an LED indicator keeps your dry tone untouched when the effect is off.
