Placement is flexible: drop it early in the chain before gain stages for a vocal, vintage push, or run it after distortion/overdrive for a smoother, more ambient wash. Either way, tap the footswitch to dial in the rate on the fly, matching the phase cycle to your song’s tempo without reaching for a knob mid-set. Hook up an optional expression pedal to the EXP/CTL jack and you get real-time hands-on control over Rate and Filter as you play — handy for swells that build or fade with a phrase.
