Description
The Killing Floor isn’t just a clean volume bump — it’s a high-gain boost with an amp-like grit baked in, tuned for that unmistakable bluesy push. Drop it in front of a dirty amp and it’ll shove things further into breakup; run it on a cleaner setup and it delivers a fat, expressive overdrive all on its own. Plenty of players just leave it on all the time, treating it as a subtle tone enhancer that fattens up the entire signal chain rather than a stompbox they engage only for solos.
Gain runs from 0dB up to a substantial 34dB off a single knob, covering everything from a barely-there polish to aggressive, saturated lead tones. Alongside it sits a 3-way Voicing toggle for shaping the high end: boost it at 10kHz to add air and sparkle to darker humbuckers, cut it at 4.8kHz to tame a bright single-coil rig, or leave it flat for a neutral response. That switch alone makes the Killing Floor adaptable across very different guitars and amp pairings on the same board.
Built in the USA with true bypass wiring, it stays out of the way when off and won’t color your tone in the signal chain.
