Description
Palladium Gain Stage isn’t just another distortion box chasing an amp’s tone — it’s engineered to chase the feel of a high gain tube amp, something pedals have historically struggled to nail. Seymour Duncan built a custom architecture around that goal, and the result is a stompbox with real depth, dynamic touch sensitivity, and body under your pick attack.
Run it into a power amp or a clean platform to build your own signature high-gain voice from scratch, or push it in front of an already-dirty amp to tighten palm-muted rhythms and add extra sustain and saturation for lead work. It’s equally at home as the sole gain source or as a shaping tool on top of your existing drive.
Three gain stages give you serious range: a main Gain control for overall saturation, a Resonance knob for shaping low-end gain, and a Boost that stacks overdrive early in the signal path. Dial it back for classic rock crunch, or push everything up for modern metal density. A full EQ section — bass, treble, presence, and a sweepable midrange frequency — lets you match Palladium to whatever amp or cab is downstream.
