Placement in the chain is straightforward: run it early, right after your guitar, so downstream drive and modulation pedals react to the shifted pitch rather than the original signal. True bypass keeps your tone untouched when the effect is off.
The flip switch between momentary and latching operation is where this pedal earns its keep live. Set to latching, it’s a set-and-forget drop tuner. Set to momentary, it becomes a performance tool — hold the switch for a pitch dive, release to snap back, and use it for trills, dive-bomb effects, or rhythmic pitch stutters on the fly.
