Description
This bundle pairs a Squier Affinity Series Telecaster with the MXR M169 Carbon Copy Analog Delay, giving guitarists a solid, honest-playing instrument and a pedal capable of everything from tight slapback to sprawling, Gilmour-style washes.
The Telecaster itself is built around an alder body finished in Butterscotch Blonde, with a maple “C”-shape neck and rosewood fingerboard carrying 21 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5″ radius — familiar Tele territory for chording and single-note lines alike. Two single-coil pickups (Tele bridge and vintage-style neck) run through 3-way blade switching with master volume and tone, so you get bridge snap, neck warmth, or the blended in-between quack. Chrome hardware includes a 6-saddle top-load bridge for easy restringing, plus a synthetic bone nut and top-hat switch tip for that vintage look.
On the pedal side, the MXR Carbon Copy runs your signal through a fully analog bucket-brigade circuit rather than digital modeling, which is exactly why it sounds so organic — no digital edge, just warm, degrading repeats that feel musical even pushed hard. Three top-panel controls (Delay, Mix, Regen) get you dialed in fast, while two internal trim pots let you fine-tune the width and rate of the onboard modulation for chorus-like shimmer on your echoes. Delay time tops out at 600ms, plenty for slap-back rockabilly bounce or long, ambient trails.
