Drop into “Voodoo Child (Slight Return),” “Little Miss Lover,” or “Still Raining, Still Dreaming” and you’ll recognize the sweep instantly — vocal, throaty, unmistakably alive under your foot.
Where this pedal earns its place on a board is in how expressive the sweep feels in real time. It’s not a subtle filter effect; it’s a wide-open, talking-wah character that rewards aggressive rocking of the treadle just as much as slow, syncopated funk work.
