Description
The MXR EVH 90 is Eddie Van Halen’s personal spin on the phaser that helped define his tone, built in collaboration with Dunlop Manufacturing. Drop it into your chain and you get the same lush, spacey swirl and hypnotic warble that made the original Phase 90 a staple on countless boards — but with a trick up its sleeve.
A dedicated Script switch lets you flip instantly between two distinct phaser voices: the smoother, vintage “Script Logo” sweep for subtle, washy movement, or the punchier, more aggressive “Block Logo” character for a phaser that cuts through a mix. That flexibility makes the EVH 90 equally at home ahead of a clean amp for shimmering rhythm tones or stacked with dirt for that classic swirling lead sound. Housed in the eye-catching red, white, and black stripes lifted straight from Eddie’s iconic Frankenstein guitar, it’s a pedal that looks as loud as it sounds.
This listing includes two free 6″ cables, handy for patching the EVH 90 into a tight pedalboard chain without extra cable clutter.
