Co-designed with Allan Holdsworth himself, this OD/Boost pedal was built to solve a real problem: fighting hostile backlines while holding onto that signature Holdsworth tone and touch. Rather than chasing a single voice, Rockett gave it two distinct tools that work together.
- A gentle, low-gain overdrive stage — subtle enough to sit under your amp’s own character rather than fight it
- A fully tweakable boost section with adjustable EQ emphasis, letting you sculpt push before or after the drive
Run the boost into the OD and things heat up fast — stack them for surprisingly scorching gain that still tracks pick dynamics cleanly. On a pedalboard, it works equally well as a clean-boost utility ahead of your dirt pedals or as a low-key drive that adds body without smearing your amp’s front end. It’s become a fixture on Rockett’s own boards, which says more about its versatility than any spec sheet could.
