Description
The Suhr ISO Line Out box gives you a transformer-isolated tap straight off your amplifier’s speaker output, letting you pull a proper line-level signal for feeding a processor, mixer, or recording interface without disturbing your amp’s tone. Run the wet-only output into another amp’s effects return or power amp/speaker setup, and you’ve got yourself a Dry/Wet or even Wet/Dry/Wet rig with minimal fuss.
Important: this is not a load box or a cab emulator. Your amplifier must always have a speaker connected while using it — the ISO Line Out box simply splits and isolates the signal that’s already driving your speaker.
- Connect any speaker output jack to one of the Speaker Thru jacks on the box.
- If your amp has just one speaker jack, run it into a Speaker Thru jack and plug your speaker into the remaining Speaker Thru jack.
- Send the Line Out jack to a balanced or unbalanced input on your mixer, effect, or recording device, then dial in your level.
The Line Out jack is wired for both balanced and unbalanced use, with the transformer connected across tip and ring. The cable shield floats and only references box ground when you’re running a balanced cable.
A Phase switch lets you flip signal polarity — up inverts, down keeps normal phase — handy for resolving phase issues in multi-amp or blended setups. The GND Ref switch ties the box ground to the Line Out cable ground, but should only be engaged with balanced cabling; for mono connections, leave it down.
This listing includes a Fender polish kit bundled in at no extra cost.
