The AC Booster V2 refines Xotic’s original AC Booster while keeping the same amp-like dynamic response that made it a pedalboard staple. Dig in hard and it pushes into a thick, crunchy overdrive; back off your pick attack or roll down your guitar’s volume, and the circuit cleans up naturally, much like easing off a tube amp that’s running hot. That touch sensitivity makes it a great front-end gain stage or boost, since it reacts to your playing dynamics rather than locking you into one fixed voice.
