Description
The original Satisfaction Fuzz was a tight nod to the fuzz tones that fueled a generation of riffs. The Satisfaction Plus takes that same ’60s-inspired circuit and hands it a bigger control set, so you can shape the grit rather than just switch it on. Drop it into your chain as a front-end gain stage and it’ll respond to pick attack the way old-school fuzz should — cleaning up nicely when you back off, spitting and compressing when you dig in.
The FAT/NORM switch is the biggest tonal fork in the road: NORM keeps things closer to the classic voicing, while FAT thickens everything up with added warmth and low-end weight, ideal for doom-adjacent riffing or leads that need more body. The Tone knob works as a tilt-shift EQ, meaning it pushes treble and bass in opposite directions from a center point — dial it one way for glassy bite, the other for dark, rounded low-mids, all without carving out the fuzz’s core character. Bias control lets you push the circuit from smooth and open into starved, gated, voltage-sag snarl, essentially giving you access to the temperamental, dying-battery fuzz tones players have chased for decades — on demand.
- Fuzz circuit inspired by early ’60s fuzz pedals
- FAT mode for bigger, warmer tones alongside standard NORM voicing
- Bias control ranges from balanced/smooth to gated/snarly
- Tone is an active tilt-shift EQ affecting treble and bass inversely
- Attack and Volume knobs control gain and output level
- True bypass switching
- Runs on included 9V battery or optional 9V adapter
Whether you want faithful vintage fuzz or something rounder and heavier, the Satisfaction Plus gives that foundational tone real range on the board.
