Where a standard Crybaby locks you into one sweep, the 535Q hands you a Q dial that reshapes the entire character of the effect—crank it narrow for a piercing, vocal-like snarl, or open it up for a wide, musical sweep that sits back in the mix. It’s the difference between a wah that does one thing well and one that adapts to funk, rock, or lead lines on the fly.
Six selectable wah range settings let you match the sweep to your guitar’s pickups and the song at hand, while an onboard boost—variable from 0 to +26dB—pushes solos through a dense band mix without needing a separate pedal for it. A hard-wired on/off switch keeps true bypass tone intact when the wah is off, and Dunlop’s updated internal circuitry draws less current while keeping the signal free of the unwanted distortion older wah designs are known for.
Built for pedalboard duty, it runs on the Dunlop ECB03 adapter or a single 9-volt battery. Two free 6″ patch cables are included so you can drop it into your chain without a trip to the cable bin first—ideal for slotting the 535Q ahead of your drive or fuzz where wah traditionally lives.
