Description
The Compulator Pro builds on Demeter’s original Compulator circuit and hands you the two controls players kept asking for: attack and release. That means you’re no longer locked into one compression curve — you can shape exactly how quickly the pedal clamps down and how it lets go, dialing in everything from a fast, transparent squeeze to a slow, syrupy pull that mimics classic LA-2A optical compression. Set both knobs to their fastest position and you’re back to the sound of the original Compulator, so nothing is lost, only added.
A Low/High Gain switch with an internal High Gain Adjust trimpot gives you a quick way to add extra boost when a solo needs to jump out or when you’re running two different instruments through the same pedal and need matched output levels. Compress and Volume knobs round out the control set, letting you balance how hard the signal is squeezed against how loud it comes out the other side.
Every Compulator Pro is hand-assembled in the U.S.A. with premium components, built to sit on a working pedalboard for years without complaint. It’s equally at home as a subtle glue stage early in the chain or as a heavier-handed compressor pushing into a dirt pedal.
