Description
For builders who want serious looping muscle without eating up board space, the JamMan Express XT delivers a surprising amount of function in a small metal enclosure. It runs true-bypass so your dry signal stays untouched when the loop’s off, and it’s ready to go straight out of the box on the included 9V battery, or via an optional 9VDC supply for all-day sets.
- 10 minutes of stereo recording time at 24-bit/44.1kHz
- True-bypass switching
- Unlimited overdubs with Undo/Redo
- JamSync for locking tempo with another Express XT or JamMan Solo XT
- Silent Clear mutes output while you wipe a loop, no pops or blasts through your amp
- Dedicated LEDs for Record, Overdub, and Play status
- Durable metal chassis and footswitch
JamSync is the real trick here: plug two Express XT units (or an Express XT and a Solo XT) together and they’ll stay perfectly locked in tempo, letting you stack independent loop tracks or sync up with a bandmate’s rig for layered, multi-part loop arrangements. Silent Clear solves the classic looper annoyance, no more jarring cutoffs or leftover noise bleeding through when you reset a loop mid-set.
Status is easy to read at a glance thanks to separate LEDs marking exactly what state the pedal is in, so you’re never guessing whether you’re recording, overdubbing, or just playing back. At 4.5″ x 2.75″ x 2″ and 0.6 lbs, it tucks into tight pedalboard real estate without demanding a dedicated power brick.
Whether it’s your first looper or an add-on to an existing JamMan XT setup, the Express XT covers stereo I/O, JamSync in/out, and enough recording time to build full song structures on the fly.
