The S2 is AMT’s take on Soldano amp character, packed into the upgraded Legend II chassis. It’s built for players who want thick, tube-style saturation without hauling a head to the gig, and for engineers who want maximum routing options at the same time.
- OD LEVEL / OD GAIN — dial in output loudness and drive/distortion amount
- HIGH / MIDDLE / BASS — full three-band EQ shaping
- CL LEVEL — sets buffer output level when bypassed (1 o’clock = standard 10dB)
- CL BOOST switch — adds up to +8dB clean boost in bypass, turning the pedal into a switchable 2-channel preamp
What sets the Legend II apart is the triple-output design: a speaker-simulated CAB SIM OUT for direct recording, a PREAMP OUT for feeding a power amp, and a DRIVE OUT for running into a combo or head. All three can run simultaneously, so you could mic a cab, print a DI track, and route to a second amp all from one pedal — a real asset for studio sessions or complex live rigs.
The clean level and boost controls (active on CAB SIM OUT and PREAMP OUT) give you added flexibility beyond drive tones. Use CL LEVEL as a buffer to keep signal strong through long pedal chains or cable runs, or engage CL BOOST to match your clean bypass volume to the overdrive channel — effectively giving one stompbox two amp channels.
An LED confirms when the effect is engaged. The S2 runs on 9-12V DC (center-negative) via adapter or battery, draws low power, and fits into a compact 110 x 62 x 58 mm footprint — easy to squeeze onto a crowded board.
