Description
Not every pedalboard has room for a full-size expression pedal, but plenty of modulation, pitch, and filter pedals still want that expression jack fed something. The Cntl Knob solves this by acting as a static substitute — you dial in two fixed positions ahead of time, then jump between them with a single stomp, freeing up real estate without sacrificing that expressive control voice.
Setup is straightforward: the EXP 1 knob sets your first value, EXP 2 the second, with each control running fully counterclockwise for the equivalent of heel-down and fully clockwise for toe-down. Whichever setting is active gets confirmed by an onboard LED, so you always know where you stand mid-set. Power the LEDs straight from your existing pedalboard supply and there’s nothing extra to manage.
Because expression polarity isn’t standardized across brands, EHX built in a TRS+/- button that flips the signal to match whatever you’re driving — an EHX unit or something from another manufacturer entirely. A 6-foot TRS cable ships with the pedal, so you’re ready to patch in and go.
- Static remote control for any pedal with an expression jack, EHX or otherwise
- Compact, affordable footswitch alternative to a full expression pedal
- Two independently set values (EXP 1 / EXP 2), instantly toggled
- CCW = heel position, CW = toe position on both knobs
- LED indicators show active setting, powered via pedalboard supply
- TRS+/- button for cross-brand polarity matching
- Includes 6-foot TRS cable
