Description
Pitch Fork tracks whole chords, not just single notes, letting you transpose your instrument’s pitch across a full +/- three octave window without the glitchy tracking artifacts that plague lesser shifters. Three modes give you up-only, down-only, or Dual operation, where two independently shifted signals run simultaneously — think a fifth stacked above an octave-down sub tone, or any of the many other interval pairings Dual mode offers.
Dial in your transposition with the 11-position Shift switch, running from a subtle 17-cent Detune up through Minor 2nd, Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, Minor 7th, and full octave jumps to 1, 2, or 3 octaves. A Blend knob sets the balance between dry and shifted signal, so you can layer harmonies under your natural tone or go full-on effect.
The EXP jack opens the door to expressive pitch control or CV integration. Flip the Latch button and behavior changes: in Latch mode, the footswitch toggles effect on/bypass and the expression pedal sweeps pitch continuously between unity and your set interval. In Momentary mode, the effect only engages while your foot holds the switch down, and the EXP input instead governs glissando speed — how fast the pitch slides from bypass to target and back, adjustable from a snappy 4 milliseconds to a lazy 2 seconds via pedal position. No expression pedal plugged in? You get a fixed 60ms default glide.
Built for whammy dives, synth-style harmony stacks, and everything between subtle detune shimmer and full pitch-bent chaos, Pitch Fork earns its spot on boards that need more than a simple octaver.
