The Nano Metal Muff packs EHX’s most aggressive Muff circuit into a tiny enclosure built for tight boards. This isn’t a polite overdrive — it’s tuned for palm-muted chugs, scooped rhythm tones, and leads that cut through a wall of amps. The DIST knob pushes input gain hard enough to turn a clean single-coil into a buzzsaw, while VOL sets how loud that chaos comes back out.
Where this pedal earns its keep on a metal board is the EQ section. Bass gives you +/- 14dB, Mid swings a full +/- 15dB (crucial for carving out the mid-scoop or pushing mids back in for solos), and Treble adds +/- 10dB on top. That’s enough range to go from a tight, boxy rhythm voice to a wide-open, fizzy lead tone without touching another pedal.
