Description
The Super Pulsar takes analog tremolo into programmable territory. Instead of a single fixed waveform, you get sine, triangle, and pulse shapes as raw material for building your own rhythmic patterns — nine of them, fully editable and stored for instant recall alongside up to eight complete preset programs. Tap tempo and tap divide keep everything locked to the beat, so pulsing textures land exactly where you want them in the mix.
Stereo operation is where this pedal really opens up. Independent left/right phase control lets you push the right channel anywhere from 0 to 360 degrees out of alignment with the left, generating ping-pong and swirling stereo movement that a mono tremolo simply can’t touch. Flexible I/O covers every routing scenario on a board: stereo in/out, mono in with stereo out, stereo in with mono out, or straight mono in/mono out — so it slots into whatever signal chain you’re running, dual amps or single.
Hook up an expression pedal and Rate, Depth, Shape, Phase, and Volume all become playable in real time, turning static settings into live, evolving textures. There’s also envelope-follower interaction built into Rate and Depth, meaning your picking dynamics can push the modulation itself — harder attack, deeper pulse.
