This one isn’t – it reads your dynamics almost instantly, turning picking intensity into real-time filter movement that feels closer to playing a wah pedal with your fingers than stomping on a box.
Three controls shape the quack: Attack sets how fast the filter reacts to your note’s envelope, Decay determines how quickly it lets go afterward, and Range dials in the frequency window the filter sweeps through. Together they let you go from tight, snappy funk pops to slower, vocal-like swells, all without touching a rocker pedal.
On the signal-chain side, Le Canard uses relay-based true bypass with a failsafe design, so it stays out of the way tonally when it’s off and won’t leave you silent if power drops.
