Description
The Bassbone OD sits at the front of your bass rig as command central, giving you two fully independent instrument channels — each with its own level control, passive-interactive EQ, and a low-frequency filter to tame boomy resonance before it ever hits your amp. A footswitch flips between channels instantly, or hold the blend switch to run both at once if you’re working a dual-pickup setup.
Channel-A carries a PZB booster that lifts input sensitivity and impedance to 10 meg ohms, purpose-built for piezo pickups on upright bass. Channel-B goes the opposite direction with Drag Control, a load-correction circuit that restores natural tone and feel to passive basses — think vintage Fender-style instruments that lose their character into low-impedance inputs.
- Toggle or blend between two basses on the fly
- PZB booster and 10 meg piezo input tailored for upright bass
- Drag Control load correction for vintage passive basses
- Built-in bass overdrive with wet-dry blend, from SVT-style warmth to full saturation
- Shared effects loop so both channels can use the same pedals
- ¼” amp output plus balanced low-Z Radial DI output (switchable pre/post effects) for the PA
- Buffered tuner output paired with a mute footswitch for silent on-stage tuning
- Built-in headphone amp with 3.5mm jack for silent practice
Whether you’re switching basses mid-set, blending a piezo with a magnetic pickup, or just want reliable DI-quality tone with onboard grit on tap, the Bassbone OD condenses a full preamp rig into one pedal. This unit is an open box/demo — fully functional, just previously used for demonstration.
