Description
Suhr’s Alexa gives you two independent BBD-driven chorus/vibrato engines in one enclosure, so you’re not stuck compromising on a single tone. Set Channel A to a lush, traditional swirl and Channel B to a fast, wobbly rotary-style vibrato, then flip between them mid-song with a quiet, click-free footswitch. It’s the kind of flexibility that lets you plan your modulation textures the way you plan your gain stages.
At the core of Alexa is a 3207 bucket brigade device, the same breed of chip that gave vintage analog choruses their thick, three-dimensional depth — but Suhr’s modern circuit design keeps the noise floor exceptionally low, so it stays clean and quiet even when you’re stacking it with dirt or high-gain pedals earlier in the chain.
Each channel gets its own dedicated Speed, Delay, and Depth knobs, plus a choice of six waveforms ranging from smooth vintage sweeps to more unusual modulation shapes — enough range to cover subtle pitch shimmer, deep vibrato wobble, or full-on stereo width. Channel A also includes a Chorus/Vibrato selector switch for even more tonal options from one side of the pedal.
Built into a heavy-duty anodized aluminum billet enclosure and offering selectable buffered or true bypass, Alexa is engineered to survive touring life while giving you the routing flexibility to sit anywhere in your signal chain. This unit is open box and in mint condition.
